Attached is the list for our Dec. 23 CBC. We managed to get 43 species in
spite of driving rain, fog and strong winds. Those birds on the list with a
CW beside the name are the ones Lynda and I found during Count Week (3 days
before the count and 3 days after).
My many thanks to those who participated, considering the conditions - Daryl
Owens and David Raines, Ed Talbott III, Chuck and Veronica Ratliff, and of
course my wife Lynda, who not only helps with the count, she is also the
compiler for the count.
One bird that we found during Count Week was a Hermit Thrush that came to
our yard pond on Christmas Day to drink. Here is a photo.
