Buchanan Birders, Michelle and I braved the 90 degree temps for a little off-trail hiking in the Berea Woods area late this morning. Warblers were found in good numbers and we noted Pine, Yellow-throated, Worm-eating, Hooded, Kentucky, Prairie, Common Yellowthroat, Chat, Parula, Black-and-white, and Ovenbird. Lots of butterflies were seen also and I managed a few photographs. For those interested, here is a link to our hike pictures: http://www.pbase.com/aquilaet/berea5 Ed Talbott Richmond, KY
