I found this unusual Giant Leopard Moth, though it isn't huge, clinging to
an outside building in our backyard today. I have found this species before,
and it has always been in June or July. The caterpillar of this moth is the
black Wooly Worm or Wooly Bear.
This moth is also known as the Eyed Tiger Moth.
