I took a trip this morning to walk the trails of Osceola Island. I was surprised to see an American Tree Sparrow in a group of Song Sparrows, White-throated Sparrows and Swamp Sparrows. It was in the area I call the swamp, where the stand of dead trees and snags are located. This area is only about a half mile from the location where Mike Sanders and I saw and photographed one back in February. It was a really good day of birding. Will probably try to go back and relocate it tomorrow.
