Subject: DNREC Beach Round-Up

Hello Mr. Bailey,

Thank you for speaking with me last week so I could make sure that we have
a good point of contact for Broadkill regarding our recreational water
sampling.  As I mentioned, we are holding a “Beach Round-Up” on Tuesday,
May 16th at 10am during which we will present information on our water
quality sampling for Enterococcus, an indicator bacteria that correlates
with the presence of bacteria and viruses that may cause human illness.
This will be a webinar-style presentation that describes what we do, why we
do it, and how it all works, with time for Q&A afterward.  The goal is to
make sure that all managers of the beaches we sample are fully informed so
that we can work together to prevent illnesses from recreational water
contact.  Following this email, you will receive a Teams invite to the
Beach Round-Up.  Please feel free to forward this invite to other members
of the Broadkill Beach Preservation Association.  We hope you can join us
on May 16th, and we hope you find the Round-Up to be helpful in better
understanding our rec water sampling so that together we can keep our
Delaware residents and visitors safe.

Thank you,

Andrew
