Are you a practicing Theravada Buddhist? If you are maybe it would be helpful
to buddy up together to deepen and refine our practices.
Abut abut me: I’m legally blind, and have had for many years a daily Theravada
practice meditating and studying the dharma. (Reading trusted translated text,
listening to dharma talks given by monastic Buddhists.) I follow the Theravada
tradition, different from the newer Mahayana path. Both are valuable, but I’m
seeking a buddy who is specificallyTheravada.
I have found this practice helpful in coping with the daily vicissitudes of
being blind in the world. And I’m always seeking to deepen it.
If you are actively practicing, have a daily practice, have a solid knowledge
base of the tenets of Theravada Buddhism, and you’d like to connect on
deepening practice, please do be in touch.

Please know that I am not a teacher, neither lay nor monastic. This would be a
peer process. If there’s enough strong, matched interest, perhaps we could
create a trial sangha (practicing community) and meet via Zoom every couple of
weeks for meditation and topical dharma discussion. For either one-on-one or
sangha, I can offer a link to a dharma talk site by my most trusted monk, who
offers talks we could talk about, seeing how to apply the teachings to our
lives as blind people.
