The Pad on my palm at the pointer finger will hit it when I shift my
hand some times. The left mouse button ones I can miss most times but
the whole tip of my finger hangs off the end of the buttons. Did I say I
have big hands? It mostly happens when I readjust the mouse in my hand.
Beyond that I love that mouse!

I really like the Logitech g502 proteus spectrum. It has the best "feel" of all the mice I've tried.
Dan, are you talking about hitting the G7 and G8 buttons? You can remap them to do cooler things. Or do you mean the DPI shift for the thumb? Either way you can reassign that too. I guess I have smaller hands because I have to reach to hit that thumb button.

I don't have either but have a Logitech mouse that I love. I also
really like their software. It would be hard to give that up since
I use one of their keyboards too. The mapping is great and
something to consider. I'm sure the others offer it too but doing
it all(keyboard and mouse) in one place is nice.

I have the Logitech G502 and like it. it fits in the hand well
compared to most others (I have large hands). I like the
weight system and it just works well overall. The main problem
I have with it is the DPS switch, you can accidentally hit
some times and will get annoyed by this. The thing has surface
features that like to collect dirt so I need to clean it way
more than any other mouse I have owned.
