Gun owners, we need your support once again!
Thank you for already submitting your public comment in opposition to ATF’s
proposed redefinition of “Frame or Receiver.”
As of today, Gun Owners of America's grassroots activists like you have already
generated over 46,000 comment submissions—that's nearly 30% of all 157,000
public comments accepted by the ATF from all individuals and organizations.
But, the gun-owning grassroots MUST become even more active on this issue for
us to win.
We need you to get this action alert tool in front of as many gun owners as you
can and to help them provide public and written opposition to this arbitrary
new gun control.

with fellow gun owners already, please do so now!
It is so important because ATF is proposing to regulate gun parts with a
background check and to have FFLs keep records of Firearms Transaction Records
(Form 4473s) forever.
Just one Glock 40 may have as many as 16 parts that could be regulated with a
NICS check under this proposed rule!
That’s why it’s so important that you and every gun owner you know takes action
to submit a public comment opposing this gun control.
If nothing is done, the comment period will close TOMORROW, and the rule will
go into effect as early as a few months from now.
Of course, GOA has already pledged to fight any final implementation this gun
control in the courts.
But every action taken now supports our arguments before the court.
A judge will be much more likely to agree that ATF’s actions were “arbitrary
and capricious” if another 20,000 gun owners make that argument in the public
comment period before the Thursday deadline.

All of these campaign promises by Biden are unconstitutional, and they were
snuck into a proposed ATF rule that has been publicly promoted as “merely” an
attack on so-called "ghost guns," or homemade firearms.
According to the Administrative Procedures Act, the public has an opportunity
to provide public comments.
So please, help your gun owning friends use GOA’s comment submission tool to
send the ATF public comments which highlight the plethora of flaws in the ATF's
latest gun control proposed rule.
All comments must be submitted on or before THURSDAY, AUGUST 19th AT 11:59 PM
EST
After that, gun owners won’t have any means by which to formally provide input
to ATF on this egregious violation of the Second Amendment.
