Subject: Don't forget Tuesday GUN BILL hearing at the Statehouse, on the House
side
One correction to my last email , H 5067 is a BAD bill, see updated file for
the overview of house bills.The House Committee on Judiciary will hold hearings
on proposed gun legislation Tuesday, April 25. We need a big turnout to defend
our firearm rights.Where: State House, Room 101When: Rise of the House (usually
after 4:30 p.m.)
Please sign the sheets in favor of the good bills and opposed to the bad bills
even if you will not be testifying. The signup sheets will be available 3:30.
It is easy and quick.Please try to attend the hearing. Protecting your firearms
rights is largely a numbers game. Legislators tend to vote for the side with
the largest turnout. The more profirearms’ people at the Statehouse, the more
likely we will stop the bad firearms’ bills and pass the good ones.
Thank you for being part of the firearm advocacy team and a special thanks to
all our hardworking volunteers that spend so much of their time and money
defending our firearms rights here in RI, good folks like Bill Welsh ( thanks
for the write-up) , Frank and Mike from the 2nd amendment coalition, RIGOL
Glenn and Dave, and the many others...
We must work together and be involved ... please come to the statehouse and
bring all your friends, you must find the time , otherwise you will get what
