Literacy results published 9 May
Scotland's Chief Statistician today published literacy results from the
2016 Scottish Survey of Literacy and Numeracy (SSLN). The SSLN was an
annual survey which monitored national performance in literacy and
numeracy in alternate years at P4, P7 and S2. This is the third and
final set of literacy results from the SSLN. The full report is
available using the following link:

The key source of literacy and performance attainment data going forward
will be Achievement of Curriculum for Excellence Levels, at P1, P4, P7
and S3, based on teacher professional judgement. This first set of data
for 2015/16 was published in December 2016. This information is
available <http://edscot.org.uk/LQE-4WLQV-LHY64R-2LKPGF-1/c.aspx> here.
