Sadly ours were very book reportish. "Teach the rest of the class about
aspects of your religion" type of thing. Not a lot of analysis except for
one teacher who had students take a parable, interpret it in the context of
Biblical times and again in current times. Some teachers did a better job
than others of applying religious understanding to an understanding of the
current state of the world. As of this year we have eliminated our freshman
World Religions classes though, and rearranged our history curriculum.
There is talk of doing a senior seminar in world religions starting next
year but I'm not sure how (or if) that will work out.

We specifically don't use it - the teachers feel there are other better
sources for this information. Try this one
<http://web.archive.org/web/20060827230958/http:/religiousmovements.lib.virginia.edu/profiles/listalpha.htm>.
Our world religions teachers use this often. I also have a bunch of
resources here <https://library.menloschool.org/religion>.

Greetings,

Is anyone familiar with http://www.religionfacts.com/religions?

The author makes a point of being anonymous, but does show the sources
from which the information was obtained.

If anyone has used this before, please let me know your thoughts. And if
anyone knows of other online resources about lesser known world religions,
I'd appreciate the recommendations. Thanks!
