Junia -
Thank you for being so gracious with your time during my recent visit to
The Marin School with my daughter.
We had discussed my novel, *Tree Dreams*, and you offered a few ideas for
ways to connect with high schools. I have had a few readings at Book
Passage, but connecting with Clare Doornbos re: their school programming
will be my next step.
In the meantime, I have attached both the press release and a PDF that
outlines ways that I engage with schools. I appreciate your passing the
materials on to the independent school community as you see fit. Of course
I would be delighted to share *Tree Dreams *with students at The Marin
School with either a reading or a writing workshop (or both!). I think I
shared that my research for the novel took me to a tree sit with
EarthFirst! where I was lived for a week 100-feet high in a redwood. The
experience alone could fill a book! ;)
