Hi all!
I've been co-organizing the next ACL Institute and am excited to share that
our registration link has just gone live. We are trying really hard to make
sure that the 2020 institute is filled with practical, actionable
information that is just as relevant to school librarians as it is to
public librarians, and that covers age ranges from preschool - teens.
Please do share the link widely (and register if you can!). The institute
will focus on practical strategies for offering accessible, accurate,
developmentally appropriate, and inclusive information on sexual and
relationship health for youth of all ages and families; identifying threats
such as sexual abuse and trafficking; and providing safe spaces and support
to those in need. Keynote speaker is Cory Silverberg and the author panel
will feature Cory along with Mariko Tamaki and Lourdes Rivas. The institute
will take place on April 10, 2020 at San Francisco Public Library.
