National High School Essay Contest. The American Foreign Service Association

<https://www.nslcleaders.org/>  would like you to be aware of the 2018
contest, which launched earlier this month. The submission deadline is March
15, 2018. High school students in grades 9 through 12 are encouraged to
apply. Entrants are asked to take a critical look at how agencies cooperate
under the rigors of international diplomacy. In doing so they are asked to
analyze two examples of integrated peace building in a conflict affected

$2,500 prize, an all-expense paid two-day trip to Washington, D.C., to meet

student's enrollment at an accredited university. The runner-up will receive
a $1,250 prize and a full scholarship to participate in the International
Diplomacy Program of the National Student Leadership Co
