Hi Andrea and BAISL,

A great map resource is the Rumsey collection and it is free!
https://library.stanford.edu/collections/david-rumsey-map-collection

The Newberry Library <https://www.newberry.org/maps-travel-and-exploration>
in Chicago has great resources (some online).

In fact, the Newberry has hosted great NEH seminars that your teacher
should look into! Here is the syllabus
<https://www.newberry.org/sites/default/files/calendar-attachments/HDSC%202009%20Seminar%20Syllabus.pdf>
for one I took several years ago. It looks like they've shifted the focus
from when I did it, but their new seminar's website
<https://readingmaterialmaps.wordpress.com/> has reading lists and
resources that may be helpful.

Hi all!

I work with a history teacher who has our students do a lot of work
looking at historical maps, but we don't currently have a dedicated
resource for maps/atlases. As I'm starting to look into it, I wanted to
reach out to see if any of you are using any map/atlas resources (either
physical and/or digital) that you're really happy with. This is for high
school level.

Thank you!
