She can always try publishing on Amazon online and see if she gets any
interest. Andy Weir spoke to our Book Club a couple years ago and said he
first published *The Martian *on Amazon online - he just first posted it on
his blog, but some readers said it was difficult to download and asked him
to put it on Amazon. He did and a "book scout", who looks through
self-published books discovered him, helped him edit it, etc., and the rest
is history. Don't know if her work is complete enough for this, but it's a
thought!
