Hello all,
Excited to be a part of this great group, and enjoying the conversations!

In my past teacher librarian jobs (of which there have only been two - I’m
relatively new at this), I was evaluated by the principal with the same form
and expectations as the teachers at those schools. Here at CAIS, I am being
given the option to tailor the evaluation form to my position, making it more
accurately reflect the job to its own unique role in the school. Part of me
has always appreciated being evaluated with the same criteria as a teacher,
because that’s primarily how I see myself and want to be seen on campus. But
I can also see the value of having a document that demonstrates all the other
roles I have as well.

I’m just curious. At your schools are you evaluated the same way the teachers
are? If not, would you be willing to share the form you are evaluated with
specifically as a teacher librarian?

Thank you!
