Teacher Professional Development Awards
Qatar Foundation International (QFI) is pleased to offer Teacher
Professional Development Awards for K-12 educators in the social
sciences/humanities and arts fields to participate in high-quality
professional development events that will enhance his/her ability to teach
about the Arab world or Arab culture. These awards will provide up to $2,000
towards travel and registration costs associated with the attendance of
relevant* professional development events including:
* Workshops
* Regional, national or international conferences
* Summer Institutes
* Seminars
* Educational courses - in-person or online
*Content of the event should be directly related to the Middle East or the
Arab world. If the event is not explicitly related (i.e. social studies
conference), the applicant must demonstrate relevancy.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis dependent on funding
availability.
