Hi East Bay BAISL members (and any other BAISL members that would like to come
- all are welcome)!
We'll be assembling at Seven Hills School in Walnut Creek on Wednesday,
February 15 for a morning meeting from 9:00 to 12:30.

Agenda
At our little group discussion at a previous BAISL meeting, the following
topics came up. I'm thinking we could go through each of these in a (voluntary)
round robin style, sharing experiences, ideas, or questions.
* Makerspace activities / lessons
* Casual / elective tinkering and programming activities
* Display ideas
* Collaboration with public libraries
* Video games in the library
* Nuts-and-bolts policies (eating, sleeping, technology use, noise levels,
etc)
* Library websites (internal/external, LMS systems, etc)
If anyone would like to present at greater length on any of these topics, let
me know! I'd also be interested in discussing how we are (or are not!)
addressing the election and events since at our individual libraries.
Generra and I can also show you the library reorganization/redesign we've been
working on the last few years.
Food
We will have coffee, tea, and plenty of snacks.
Location
We're at 975 North San Carlos Dr in Walnut Creek, just behind Heather Farm
Park. It is about a 1.5 mile walk or bike ride from Pleasant Hill BART.
Parking
Please park at the equestrian center lot at the end of San Carlos Drive (1),
walk up the hill and check in at the admin building (2), then come to the
library (3). If you need a more accessible parking spot, there are a limited
number of spaces closer to the library.
