Folks,
if you are planning to join us for the "making lessons more engaging"
session please bring along your thoughts of your favorite lesson/teaching
tool - the one the kids react to the best. Artifacts, or lesson plans if
you are willing to share them can be shared. The more the merrier - if we
run out of time we will send along links etc.

Breakfast will be available starting at 8:30am. Please come early as we
will start promptly at 9am.
I encourage attendees to carpool or take public transit. Balboa Park Bart
station is across the street and many MUNI lines converge here as well.
*PARKING:*
The school parking lot gate will be open from 8:30-9:15am. *Do not park
in spaces labeled RESERVED.*
The parking lot entrance is located between the school and the freeway, so
if you are heading east on Ocean Ave. after turning down Howth St. (which
google tells you to do), turn right into the lot immediately past the
school.
If you arrive past 9:15am, there is a paid lot (about $3/day) across the
street at City College (see attached map) or street parking may be
available (check posted signs).
*BALBOA PARK BART STATION:*
Take the exit toward Ocean Ave. and turn left across the freeway. The
school entrance will be on the left toward the end of the block.
*LIBRARY:*
Look for signs on campus to direct you to the Library building at the back
of the school. You do not need to formally check in at the front desk, but
they will be happy to point you in the right direction.
