Hi, Derek,

thank you for organizing this. Another question that came up at the
meeting was: do we know if Cardinal Newman is a member of the BAISL
Overdrive consortium? That's one way to get books that doesn't require
physical space. If they're not already a member perhaps we could raise the
money to provide that, or even encourage Overdrive to offer a year's
membership as a gesture of support and solidarity?

I know people want to do something more like a traditional book drive, but
with no space to put donations and so storage for boxes of books at this
point, we are just going to have to wait until the new library at Cardinal
Newman is constructed.  Please do let me know if you have any questions.
