Hello BAISL colleagues,
I will be retiring in June as librarian from Blue Oak School in Napa. It
is very hard to leave after 9 years. The new librarian will find a
welcoming community that loves the library. Blue Oak has about 300
students, K-8, and is located in downtown Napa. We can walk to the
public library. Construction is just starting on a new middle school
across the street from the lower school. We are excited to be welcoming
Jon Fulk as our new Head of School in July. Some of you may know Jon, as he
has been at Phillips Brooks as interim head of academic programs.
The position is posted on CAIS. I will post it on BAISL, too. I currently
work every day 10 to 2, so I can cover recesses in the library as well as
library classes. I go to the lower school 3 days and middle school 2 days
a week. All of this may be negotiable!
