Hi Danielle,

I ask students to complete this short assessment
<http://bit.ly/research2023> in the library orientation. I have gotten
feedback that the wording is a bit unclear so it does need some work.  Make
it your own.

Hello,

Does anyone administer a 9th grade survey or pre-assessment of
information literacy skills?

I am hoping to gauge where my new freshmen are at before I start
designing the lesson for their one big project this year in the library.

I have looked at using the TRAILS assessment, but some of the questions
are overly complicated and therefore not assessing the skill directly in my
opinion.

Any guidance or collaboration is greatly appreciated.

thanks,
