Happy New Year!
I have two faculty members creating a Unit in English that will correlate
with a Social Studies class on India.
I am doing research on this topic, and I would love if any of you can send
me a few titles that I could include on my book lists. The students are
advanced reading level, so Middle School and higher can be used for the
project. The books can reflect an individual grappling with balancing
Indian-American identify.
We may be using books for Lit Circle Setting, so challenging well written
books are welcome!
Do not suggest Shiva's Fire or Shabanu by Fisher, we have used these books
in the past.
