EVAC April 2018 Auction and Estate Sale
To All Astronomy Enthusiasts,
Please join us on Friday, April 20, at 6.30 pm, one hour before the regular
meeting of the East Valley Astronomy Club for a used equipment sale and auction
of items donated to EVAC over the last couple of years. The meeting will be
held at the Gilbert Southeast Regional Library, 775 N. Greenfield Road,
Gilbert, Az. The library is located at the Southeast corner of Greenfield and
Guadalupe roads. Please enter through the side door on the northeast side.
At 6:30 there will be an auction of larger items. After that will be a general
sale of small telescopes, eyepieces, and accessories, as well as over 250 books
and magazines from the estate of Gerry Rattley. The event is open to EVAC
members and non-members. Minimum bid prices have been set by the EVAC Board.
Items that do not receive a bid higher than the reserve will remain unsold.
All items are sold as is, and need to be removed that evening. Bring cash
or check (we may ask for ID).

The other items are too numerous to list here.
We hope that you will come join us in supporting this great hobby and
encouraging astronomy for generations to come; then stay for our meeting
featuring Dr. Dennis Zaritsky, Deputy Director of the Steward Observatory at
the University of Arizona who will be speaking about Halos of Hydrogen Gas
surrounding all galaxies. It should be a memorable night.
Hope to see you there,
Tom Mozdzen
EVAC President
