Thanks for the summary, Wayne. I just read Steve Coe's writeup on
Cloudynights as well. He wrote that RTMC will be becoming a star party
rather than just an expo in future years, moving to the conference to the
weekend in May corresponding to New Moon.
This move will reduce the burden on the facilities at Camp Oakes
considerably, as...
1) most of the folks I know (even Southern Californians) don't consider it
to be a dark site, and
2) attendance has been so good until this year thanks in large part to the
three-day weekend.
