Interesting thread. Has anyone accepted the oscilloscope yet? ;-) Thanks Howard, for the trip down memory lane. Chemistry sets are, unfortunately, a thing of the past due to "sanitization". Anyway, I remember my mom programming an IBM 1401 for Illinois Bell back in the 60's. We used to get to make punch cards and play witht he card sorter some times. I still have a (40 pound) Tektroniks 465B oscilloscope that (mostly) works, and, if anyone's interested in seeing a WORKING Tesla coil in action, just give me a call, or visit my website. :-) I first saw one demonstrated in 1969 in high school. Built my first one in 1983. Wonderful toy!
