Hey, close to Bisbee? How 'bout these-

Palominas Observatory (Doug Snyder) ; 12 miles west of Bisbee
RepoGazer Observatory (Keith Mullen) ; 12 miles west of Bisbee
Desert Starlight Observatory (George [Bob] Kepple; 14 miles west and north
of Bisbee
Junk Bond Observatory (Dave Healy) 20 miles west and north of Bisbee
Bob is the author (NSOG, vol. 1, 2, 3)
Dave has a few hundred discovered asteroids notched on his belt
Doug has 1 comet etched into his forehead. Most have SQM readings around
21.4 and 21.5, but Dave is a little closer to town (Sierra Vista), so his
SQM is about 21.2 (not too shabby)

Yes, the website for HAC is now www.hacastronomy.com
If they want really dark, but further out, is Arizona Sky Village, near
Portal, AZ (Jack Newton's land) (close to New Mexico)

Subject: [AZ-Observing] Sites near Bisbee

I was contacted by an out-of-state pair of amateurs who will be in Bisbee in
late February and wanted to know of a good place to observe from. Can anyone
on this list give me some suggestions to pass along to them? Thanks in
advance!
