I agree with Albert !! We have had lots of discussion recently about Science, and Pretty Pictures. But on this one, I think it is (or should be IMHO) a "pleaser" to everyone. That is just a "fantastic" area of the sky !!! We should all stop and think about how lucky we are to be able to "see" that..... so few people do. David M. I took an image of the Markarian Chain and posted it on PBase. The image is 1.8 degrees on a side. It's a preliminary processing job with flat problems. There's a lot of neat stuff in this area including a little barred spiral above the bottom center, and an little irregular blue galaxy IC3355 to the upper left of M86. It looks like a speck of blue lint. > > http://www.pbase.com/paullind/image/155953916 > > Paul > -- > See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and > please send personal replies to the author, not the list. > -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list. -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
