Everyone, Please join me at the Saguaro Astronomy Club's October 30th meeting, 7:30pm at Grand Canyon University. This will be our second meeting in October and we will be welcoming ASU's Dr. Evan Scannapieco, who will pose the question: "What were the Sources of Intergalactic metals?" Clearly we all know heavy elements were produced in stars. However, Evan will take this a step further and help us understand why some heavy metals are being detected millions of light years from the nearest galaxy. Directions can be found on our website, http://www.saguaroastro.org/. Hope to see you there!
