Nice work Tom! It is really bright. Have you estimated the magnitude yet?
The star near the right edge in Tom's sequence (HIP 62166) has a V mag
of 8.5 but is distinctly red with a spectral type of M0, while those in
the little asterism near the top edge are in the 11 - 12 range. As a
first approximation, I'd guess the comet to be about as bright as the M0
star. JPL Horizon provides a T-Mag value (visual total magnitude) of
11.49 at 12:00 UT (5 am MST).
Perhaps a binocular object for people who start their day early.
