Hi, I decided to try my hand at some narrowband imaging. Below is a link to NGC896 done in the Hubble palette (SII-Red, Ha-Green, OIII-Blue). It represents over 33 hours of exposure time. In addition to the narrowband images, I took RGB images and blended in the RGB stars to the image to give the stars a more natural look. Narrowband stars tend to look magenta. Comments and suggestions are welcomed. http://www.azstarman.net/NGC896_NB.htm Thanks, Bernard -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
