As Steve Coe has rightly said, the view you get from here with
an 18-inch (say) is about what you get from the south in a 6-inch---
except change "25' field" to "60' field".
The only problem is 47 Tuc, which some of us feel is even better
than omega Cen. Imagine a globular as large as omega Cen, but
structured like M5 and the stars as bright or slightly brighter
than those in omega Cen.
