Hi all, This is a more in depth close up with the venerable 12.5" f/5 on the very center of the huge open cluster M44 - The Bee Hive cluster in Cancer. This central area is of great interest as both a colorful photographic target with its golden and blue gem like bright stars, and for visual observers for the sprinkling of numerous faint (and I mean FAINT) galaxies in this field. If you have looked at any of these galaxies in the telescope, I would like to hear of your observations for a possible article. http://www.schursastrophotography.com/xtiastro/m44-1.html Clear Skies, Chris Schur's Web Portal: http://www.schursastrophotography.com -- See message header for info on list archives or unsubscribing, and please send personal replies to the author, not the list.
