Hi Jim,
I owned A C8-Hyper star combination with a GHY8 Camera for several years. Its a
great combination
for deep sky Imaging. I reluctantly sold it because at 87 years the process of
taking it out to s dark
sky location and setting it up then taking it down was to strenuous. A very
good goto mount and
finder scope are needed together with fine acquisition and control software to
aid in positioning
the scope on target. Used Maxim Dl for that purpose. A Micro Touch auto focuser
or equivalent is
highly recommended because at F2 focusing must be very fine. As for image
quality, see my attached
Image of the Pleades acquired as 15 consecutive 90 second unguided images.
