Tom,

Looking at Heavens- Above, I see that from my new office (less than1/2 from
your Casa Polakis) the flair will be -2. From my house it is -7. The flare
center is about 2.5 Mile east of my house in a church parking lot at 37th
Ave & the South Service road of Loop 101(33.66900°N 112.14000°W). It won?t
be visible at all from Saddle Mountain, if anyone ventures out there
Saturday. Location is everything with Iridium flares. The difference over a
short distance is pretty large.

For those who do head out to Saddle Mountain there is a -6 flare at 1823.
(Iridium 64). Also a -1 flair about an hour early at 1731 (Iridium 39)

Clear Skies

Subject: [AZ-Observing] Iridium Flare Saturday, Feb. 14

A magnitude -8 Iridium flare will be visible in Phoenix this Saturday at
around 6:35. The satellite will be Iridium #75. It certainly won't be
Iridium #33!

Pretty good summary of Tuesday's satellite collision from Mike Earl, an
amateur who specializes in this subject here:
