I am planning on getting the Dioptrx, just have to get a new prescription check first. Never got an answer to the Hbeta question. I have used the Lumicon version with my 35PanOptic to see the Horse head in my 10", still curious about the Thousand Oaks. Hey Beevo, Don't know that you ever got answer to your question but, after you and I talked at 5MM I went out and bought an "Astronomik" (German) H-beta filter from OPT. Haven't used it as of yet but it gives you another option to look at. Another purchase based on 5MM discusions was a Televue "dioptrx" for my astigmatism and again haven't had it mated up to the scope but in just holding it up to my eye and looking around, I'm saying "wow". Should improve my observations as my left eye has been lacking for a while. The quality is great and quite reasonable at $98.00 Jimmy Ray ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill VanOrden" <beevo1@xxxxxxx> To: <az-observing@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, June 20, 2007 19:03 Subject: [AZ-Observing] H beta filters?
