Great report from the South Rim, quite detailed and captures the atmosphere of the event very well. Tell Jim thanks and try to get a look at the Saturn Nebula (NGC 7009) sometime this week. Also about M22, it is much bigger and brighter than M13 but suffers from northern bias I think, so is not as famous. I'll try to put a N Rim report on here.
