Well, it certainly does not look like there is going to be much observing or
imaging over the December New Moon. After all this rain, we will need two or
three days of bright sunshine to get the water out of the ground to prevent
lots of dew. The weatherman is not predicting anything like that over the
next week or so. Too bad.
At least the SAC Holiday Party was a fun time. I hope the other clubs also
had a good party to celebrate the Sun moving back to the north.
A.J. Crayon and I have been saying that the past two years have been a time of
very poor viewing. The past hours of rain have certainly added to that
observation.Â
