Somehow I think of a torch supported by a base of gas and stars when I see this nebula. This is a relatively close star forming area. It was taken the night of October 21 at Vekol. It was a great night of darkness and meteors. I imaged this object until stopped by the morning twilight. http://christensenastroimages.com/nebula/ngc1333.htm Have a great week, everybody.
