Chris; One of my favorites of all your images over the years, great stuff. It = is truly been a rare end of the year for comets. What do you mean by Dual Stream? If I read the = equipment=20 list correctly you only used 1 camera and 1 scope. This occured on the evening of December 30th, and my image at 7 pm shows the comet right on the edge of this face on galaxy. The encounter was photographed continuously in a long sequence for 3 hours straight. Two data streams recording the event were brought together for this image at 7:02pm: http://www.schursastrophotography.com/xtiastro/m33tuttle123007.html OR http://tinyurl.com/2gmmp6 Notice the comet has a long thin gas tail extending to the upper right. I have not seen a shot yet from this apparition that shows this feature.
