I just came in from taking some images of Comet Holmes. I am still using the BVRI photometric filters. It is extremely bright in the longer wavelengths. Just a 30 second exposure in the R band saturates the image. It is now filling the frame nearly completely with my DSI Pro and 12" ST @ F/3.3. That is one big fella. I plan to post the new images once I get done and also new 3D profiles. The profiles are good because they are independent of any brightness or contrast setting. They created from a pixel map directly from the FITS image. Back to the telescope.
