Wes, I'd put Skiff and Luginbuhl's Observing Handbook and Houston's Deep Sky
Wonders at top of the list. I've got both and they are excellent book. S&L
is good for reference and Houston's is on a more personal side. Both well
worth the $$$.

Clear skies,
aj

Thanks for a great idea for my Amazon wish list. Other titles I have on
the list:
Skiff and Luginbuhl's Observing Handbook
O'Meara's Deep Sky Companions: Hidden Treasures
O'Meara's Deep Sky Companions: Messier Objects
Houston's Deep Sky Wonders

and

Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II for PC (the first one was
pretty cool.)

and I almost forgot--an Orion accessory case. Orion sells some items
through Amazon.
