Hi,
This is an image of Abell 36. It is a planetary nebula about 800 light years
away in the constellation Virgo. The white dwarf star left as the result of
this dying star is estimated to be over 73,000 degrees K, compared to our
Sun's temperature of 6,000 degrees K. This image was captured with Ha and
OIII narrowband filters with RGB data used for the stars.
