Excellent work Tom. Are there any professional astronomers that would be
interested in this? I know the Variable Star organization uses amateur data.

Subject: [AZ-Observing] 4078 Polakis: The Lightcurve
A couple days back, I posted an animation of asteroid 4078 Polakis crossing
a star field. Using 354 images from the past three nights, I measured its
brightness, which varies as it rotates due to its oval shape and surface
features. This same curve repeats every 4.8 hours, which is the length of a
day on this asteroid.
