Hi all,

Well, it appears the Commander and I have been enjoying some great food as
well as *aHEM* more than just that while off-duty. It was her turn to select
the food the first time around; so I decided that, this time, we'd try
something closer to my own IRL tastes. I hope you may be tempted to explore
this kind of food if you haven't before because it is to die for. And, if
Indian food seems "too spicy" for you, restaurants can always adjust the
spiciness of many dishes just the way they can at a Chinese restaurant.

cucumbers)
Tamarind Chutney (pickled sauce based on tamarind)
Mint Chutney (pickled sauce based on mint)

[chutneys are the Indo-Pakistani version of "salsas"]

Aloo Chaat ("salad" made with potatoes served on a bed of shredded lettuce,
assorted vegetables, and spicy sauce)

(( Now, of course, if they'd eaten ALL this they'd have been SO full that
... oh, well, OK, I'm not gonna finish that thought. ;-D So, of course, there
would have been some selection from the menu. But this is an example of the
choices you'd get from a typical Indian restaurant. Treat yourselves sometime.
And, remember -- Skyler and Idrys referred you! ))
