Tali set her hypospray back down and made a quick notation of the officer's
name she had just administered the innoculation to. With the help of two other
medics they had done a sweep of security and were now combing for civilians and
off duty officers who hadn't recieved it yet. it was tedius but she didn't mind
it all really. The young doctor came to the next person and pulled out a fresh
hypo, adminstering it quickly.
"I think that we've covered everyone on this deck Dr. Rashon," Ensign Greves,
one of the medical techs with her, said as he came over to where she was
finishing up.
Tali nodded, "I'm done here too." She noted the last name on her list and
glanced at Greves, "Let's get back to the sickbay see if the other teams need
any help finishing up."
They both grabbed their medikits and headed down the corridor. Greves fell in
step beside her and they walked down the hall without talking, he seemed quiet
so finally Tali hesitantly asked, "Is everything ok?"
"Just on edge, with everything changing and then this radiation stuff going
on..."he shrugged a little, "nerves are getting to me I guess." Forcing a
nervous grin he explained, "My first assignment."
"Mine as well..." the two lapsed into silence as they walked into the sickbay.
The room was nearly empty, apparently the others were finishing up or busy
elsewhere so Tali took their compiled lists of people who recieved
innoculations and slipped into the CMO's office to set it on her desk. Just as
she dropped the padd on the desk she heard Greves yell from the main sickbay,
"Dr Rashon! You better get in here..."
Tali ran back in the room to see someone in an EVA suit laying on the floor in
the sickbay. "Help me get him on the bio bed, " she instructed Ensign Greves.
The two of them carefully hoisted the man onto the nearest bed. He had
something all over his faceplate of the EVA suit, but Tali barely had time to
think about it before Greves said, "I'll get the moniters set up to run some
scans see what we're dealing with."
Tali finished his thought, "and I'll get this EVA suit off him."
She managed to get the suit off him and Greves initiated some scans with the
overhead cluster. Tapping her comm she said, "Dr. Rashon to Dr. Roan, we have
an unexpected patient in sickbay we mght need your help with."
She looked back up at the moniters waiting expectantly for the results.
