So I am just curious why you're not using it now. If I remember correctly you
were using Kaspersky but then couldn't use it anymore so what made you decide
not to go back to vipre. In addition to the cumbersome navigating will you
dissatisfied with the protection viper provided?
From what I'm reading it pretty much runs in the background and fortunately I
have a husband who can help me with some of the detailed stuff. Were you able
to run simple scans yourself or at least get things to a point where if you
needed someone to help you you
Could have done so?
Thanks for your help and patience .

Hi,
I used Vipre until February of this year. I find their tech support to be
helpful when needed and even willing to deal with situations brought about by
areas where accessibility is lacking in their program. Though the main
windows of the program can be read with JFW or NVDA I do not have Window Eyes
which I think you use so can't speak to it navigation isn't as clear-cut and
straight forward as it once was. Further interacting with windows such as
quarantine or the resulting window from the scan of an entire system or a
single file can't be read well anymore which again brings us back to how
useful are results if one cannot read them.
I hope that helps.

Subject: [av-a11y] Vipre vs Sophos home
Well, still trying to figure things out.
I just found Vipre 2017 lifetime on HSN with free shipping for $84 for 8
computers.
Usually HSN doesn't sell stuff that is second rate. Alone, just because
HSN sells something like this doesn't mean I will buy it, but it is
getting my attention.
I'm reading mixed things about Vipre accessibility. Someone told me it
made their computer fan run constantly, others have no issues with how
it interracts with their computer.
For the most part Sophos appears accessible.
So I would appreciate people's thoughts and comments etc to help me make
my final decision.
thanks for any help
