I teach jazz (in Melbourne). At my place (Kew) or yours.
I prefer students who have some music knowledge eg; the notes of a scale,
more or less.
I can teach you harmonic theory, how to get your hands around jazz chords
and structures on the piano, how to arrange, how to transpose, and how to
write professional charts so that jazz musos will play them. (This is
useful for singers as well as instrumentalists).
Summer is a good time to learn if there is a lack of other work or formal
courses around.
I would be happy to trade music lessons for other technical tuition.

Now Bruce - perhaps you could supply more information? How long did you
do it for? Which street corner? Were there any territory issues - did
you have to book territory or fight for it? How much did you earn
daily? What story did you tell to catch the sympathy dollar? What
props did you use? (Thin dogs are a great draw card I'm told.)
