Technical Trainer/Consultant - CBD

Absolute Data Group Pty Ltd, a progressive Brisbane based software
company, is seeking a Technical Consultant/Trainer to deliver Adobe
Framemaker, Arbortext, and ADG product training to their many clients
throughout Australia. ADG provide training solutions for Australia and the
Asia Pacific rim.
Travel will be involved with this role and opportunities to grow with the
company makes this a most exciting position.
Position Objectives
To provide software installation, configuration, testing, professional
training and support services to our client base in the following
products:
- Accuro Client
- R4i Client
- S1000D
- Abortext - Authoring for Epic
- Adobe Framemaker - Basic, Advanced and Structured Authoring
- Adobe Acrobat
To be successful for this role, you will:
- Be available (and happy) to travel up to 60% of the time within
Australia
- Work on-site assisting with documentation
- Possess training experience (Advanced MsWord, Adobe Framemaker)
- Have an appreciation for â??attention to detailâ?? characteristic of
published media
- Possess excellent, written and verbal, customer relationship and
communication skills
- Have the ability to work well under pressure and manage own deadlines
- Ability to assimilate technical information with ease and be
comfortable communicating in both training and consultancy environments on
a customer site
- Good team player with a "can-do" attitude
Desirable Skills
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills
- Documentation writing skills which may include trainers notes, course
materials, and functional specifciations for projects
- Knowledge of SGML/XML
- Exposure to software testing
- Ability to work within defined project teams to perform the technical
implementation and development outlined during customer requirement
meetings
Salary
Negotiable, based on experience and credentials
Additional Information
This position will be based in Brisbane Head Office. Accelerated product
training will be provided on commencement to meet the needs of individual
projects.
